SUMMARY
The
factory is a complex of two technological shops, material and product warehouses,
boilrer-room, pump station with filters and secondary objects like transformer station,
cooling tower, weighing-machine, etc. JV “Tashco” is interested in additional
investment or in cooperation with a companion – sponsor to finish the construction in
the shortest time by the harvest season .
The
guarantee of investment is the canning factory which costs 1 587 thousand US $
according to the experts appreciation.
MARKET AND FINACIAL RISK
 | There are more then 60% of irrigated soil in
Kilija region. That allows to grow good crops of vegetables even in dry seasons;

| Regional authorities are willing to create an
agricultural complex including the canning factory and some most effective farms - the
suppliers of early vegetables. |
| Assortment of products is well known to the
customers and is intended for the popular consumption. The trade companies from CIS,
Europe are willing to buy the production of the factory.

| The transportation of the production may be
fulfilled by water, automobile or railway transports. The factory is situated in 500m from
to Danube and in 1,5 km from Kilija sea port. The nearest railway station is Izmayil. The
branch of this railway is the property of the factory. |

THE FRUIT CANNING FACTORY DRAFT
PROJECT
The
construction of next complexes was intended:
1. Fruit and vegetable canning shop draft
project (capacity – 3 millions bottles a year) including:
| Fruit – vegetable canning shop; |
| Product warehouse; |
| Material storehouse; |
| Storehouse for clean bottles; |
| Gatekeeper’s office with security-fire alarm
system room; |
| Transformer station; |
| Water-supply system with two reservoirs and a
pump station; |
| Preliminary sewage filter system; |
| Rain drainage system; |
| Pump station main sewage system; |
2. Tomato paste shop draft project (capacity –
4,5 million bottles a year) including:
| Tomato paste canning shop; |
| Products warehouse; |
| Circulating water supply system; |
| Cooling tower; |
| Administrative building; |
| Metalworking and mechanical shop with autoclave
service; |
| Canteen for 50 people; |
3. Boiler room, sewage system draft
project:
It was intended to build a boiler room with
four tanks to heat the shops. It was also supposed to connect the water supply system to
the city water supply system through two accumulating reservoirs and the pump station.
Sewage system: everyday household and industrial sewage through the preliminary sewage
filter to the main sewage system and then to the city sewage system. The transformer
station with two 400 kVt electricity transformers was planed to supply electricity. The
telephone connection is through the city telephone station.
The overall factory capacity is supposed to be
8,4 million bottles a year.
The area of the factory is 7,2 hectares.
The
number of workers in two shops is 125 people, the overall number is 180
people.
During the harvest season the work schedule is
intended to have two shifts a day. In the tomato shop – 3 shifts a day.
THE CORRECTION OF
PROJECT AND COMPLETION OF CONSTRUCTION
The original project has been changed and
extended in the assortment of products and in the capacity of technological lines.
The new project decision has been made:
1. In the tomato shop:
| It is planed to install Yugoslavian AC – 550
line (it’s capacity is 550 ton a day) and some of the home made equipment.

| To assemble a line for tomato paste packaging
into barrel 200kg |
| To organize tomato juice “hot” bottling. |
| Make a secondary water use system to save water
at the preliminary tomato wash line. |
| It is planned to buy foreign equipment for
aseptic tomato packaging into barrel . |
2. In the fruit- vegetable canning shop:
| To buy a green peas processing line and equipment
for preliminary sugar corn processing. |
| Equipment to fry vegetables for caviar
processing. |
| To buy six more drying machines to the shop. |
As the result the capacity of the factory
increases from 7,5 million bottles up to 20 million bottles a year.
THE PRESENT CONDITION OF
THE PROJECT
There have been built:
1. Fruit and vegetable canning
shop with heat insulation, warehouse.
Inside the shop there are
secondary premises, laboratories, storerooms, rooms for personal.
Readiness – 70%.
It is necessary to complete
roofing, ventilation system, painting.
2. Tomato shop with warehouse.
The size of the shop is 60x24 m , warehouse – 36x24 m
Readiness – 70 %
It is necessary to complete
roofing, painting, conditioning system etc.
The Hungarian tomato processing
line, vacuum - steamer and tomato juice equipment are installed. The equipment is not
connected up to steam, water, fruit supplying system, vacuum supplying system and
electricity supply. There is no equipment for thermal tomato and juice processing and for
bottling.
There are reservoirs to
accumulate tomatoes, area with two barometric condensers, metal constructions for cooling
tower with metal tank under it nearby the shop. In the annex there is a pump station.
- Material storehouse. Size - 36x14.4 m.
- Fruit storehouse with heat insulation. It is not
equipped by cooling system.
Size - 54x18 m.
- Boiler room without roofing . There are two
boilers DE-6,5- 14-GM. It is necessary to install and connect up the secondary equipment
like: conditioning system, flue, smoke stack, tanks for fuel oil etc.
Readiness – 33 %.
- Transformer station. Two 400kVa transformers have
been installed. The equipment is connected up to electric line 10 kVt.
Readiness – 99%
- Weighing machine.
- Water supplying pump station, without
accumulating reservoirs and pumps.
- Checkpoint.
- It has begun the construction of mechanical
shop.Readiness – 8%
There
are access roads to some of the objects of the factory.
The purpose of this survey is to inform investors and firms
interested in investing financial means into the bulding canning factory. This factory is
exclusively situated in a ecological pure raw zone with cheap labor and cheap raw. That is
why this project rather attractive to the foreign investors.
